About This Event

Where does gas production end and gathering begin? Where does gas gathering end and transmission begin? Applying the guidelines in API RP 80, regulatory interpretations vary based on the styles and types of production operations. This presents problems for anyone involved with the construction and operation of gathering type pipelines. Operators constantly face challenges in this arena. This course covers code compliance review to ensure proper design, construction, operation, maintenance, and inspection testing required.

This one (1.5) day training course concentrates on providing a comprehensive understanding of gas gathering pipeline regulations (CFR Part 192) and interpretations in a workshop environment. Published documentation, recommended practices and procedures regarding gas gathering pipelines will be reviewed. This course and workshop offers real world solutions to help attendees understand regulatory requirements and how to address these challenges in a cost effective manner.
